[Internship] Mark43 Full-stack Project Vehicle Merging

🎖️Deployed in production to 10+ police officer departments

⚡Technologies: Java, Typescript, JavaScript, React, Node, SQL, Docker, Git, Flyway

Key achievements in this project include:

• Simplified vehicle selection on the search page.
• Implemented merging constraints, allowing only two vehicles to merge at a time and excluding those in police custody or stored within the department.
• Presented comprehensive vehicle properties to users for selection.
• Executed property merging seamlessly, ensuring data integrity and preserving the interconnected records management for reports and related functions.
• Enhanced the vehicle's history page to clearly indicate when a merge occurred.

Frontend: Managed different states with redux, creating new components and refactoring existing!

Backend: Modified multiple APIs and worked with a separate database setup for vehicle information stored as evidences. I also managed various backend objects like tasks, persons, locations, and reports connected to vehicles.

[Hackathon] Dear Hiring Manager

🎖️Won: Top 5 Project at Cmd-F 2023, Mentorship Program Recipient

⚡Technologies: Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Node, Cohere AI API

Spearheaded back-end development to bring this feature to life, creating API requests to Cohere and engineering different prompts. Worked closely with FE teammates to connect results and display them accordingly.

This mini project allows users to:

1. Copy and paste their resume and the job description
2. Receive prompts to showcase relevant skills
3. Generate a cover letter based on prompts to suit the relevant job description
4. Added a bonus feature where users could classify their resume based on inputted bullet points. This utilizes Cohere's AI model that helps classify similar bullet points, indicating applicants whether their resume sounds like a Product Manager, Business Analyst or Software Engineer

[Hackathon] MindCraft at Hack The North 2023

Creating a fun hack to allow people to walk, jump, build and destroy on Minecraft through real world movements!

Fun fact: those glasses cost $10k!

[Just For Fun] Automation Script with Google Office APIs

Allows teachers at a local childcare to input their student's daily reports on a google doc and auto generates reports for them which will be sent directly to the parent's emails as a pdf.

Took me a weekend, but saves staff a ton of time and ensures a standardized report for everyone!
